Cory & Mitchell - four months
“I love everything about him, but his
intellect is what keeps me hooked.”

Mitchell (left) says he was surprised when he met Cory
because he wasn’t expecting him to be wearing glasses. “I have
to admit though,” says Mitchell, “the nerd look really turned me
on.” The two first truly connected at dinner three days before
this year’s Pride. “I fell in love with his smile right away,” says
Cory. “It still makes me happy every time I see it.” They spent
that weekend getting to know one another on both emotional and
physical levels. “Lets just say we didn’t end up seeing much of
the parade,” jokes Mitchell. Even though they’ve only been
together for a few months Cory and Mitchell have met each
other’s families. Cory says his parents were receptive of Mitchell
and took a liking to him almost instantly. Mitchell’s family was
another story because although his brother was cool with Cory,
Mitchell’s sister was upset about her brother’s sexuality.
She refused to meet Cory for almost two months until she was
finally forced to do so but she recently invited Cory to
Thanksgiving dinner — a good sign of progress. These two selfproclaimed
Tim Hortons addicts love to travel and are planning a
December cruise before Christmas. “I think it doesn’t really matter
what we’re doing, as long as we’re together,” says Mitchell.
