So, what’s your involvement in the music industry?
I started out as a music blogger for Odessa Parker’s Celery magazine in 2006, and then I was the assistant editor of The Spill magazine for two years. I currently run my own music website, called Diamond Atlas, I’m doing PR for a few artists, and I DJ. (Max is also a music writer for Fab!)
What’s the best event you’ve played at?
Vile in 2011. It’s this gay punk-rock party that used to happen at The Beaver. I DJed in a jockstrap and leather cap. It was super liberating and awesome.
When all the partying is over, how do you like to chill out?
Writing. I’m always writing. I like to read when I can. As long as there’s tea involved and a comfortable place to sit, it’s usually pretty easy for me to relax.
What would you like to do on a date? Why?
I just wanna hang out, listen to some good music, watch a movie, go see a show.
Where’s the wildest place you’ve had sex?
Backroom of the Black Eagle. There’s no way to avoid trouble in that place. This was right after a breakup, where the sex was a bit dry, to say the least. I needed to do something a little out of my comfort zone that night, so I went for it. No regrets. It was hot!
If you could meet one famous person, dead or living, who would it be?
Aaliyah. She’s one of my biggest inspirations style-wise and musically.
What’s the last song you downloaded?
The Dream ft Casha: “Used To Be (Slava Club Mix).”
What’s your Twitter?
