Madonna talks WE

Actually, less we than 'I'

02.01.2012

Madonna's WE is set to hit select theatres this weekend. We caught up with Madonna while she was at TIFF with her new film. It didn't get the Oscar nod that Madonna would have liked and critics haven't been raving about it; now it is the moviegoers' turn to have their say. Tell us when you see it and whether you like it.

Aaron,Yes, I read your post right after Facebook Comments were posted and berfoe publishing visited again and read that response. I'm not sure what to make of that solution since I'm uncertain how he's obtaining those comments. But if he can get them you certainly could drop them into a noscript tag and have them render for search engines. And I agree that while I can't support it from an SEO perspective, it still might make sense! SEO isn't everything, and in this instance removing comment spam and trolls, potentially increasing the quality of discourse on your property and getting more traffic from Facebook could be a net benefit.I'm a bit uneasy about Facebook capturing such a large part of the web behind a walled garden, but it also presents some interesting possibilities.

Unpopularity has it's benifits to be sure, and one of them is no nigvteae comments; at least on YouTube. In life (performing at comedy shows for one) there are a lot of haters. I've found that it's best to just pretend you don't hear them. They want the satisfaction and ignoring them is a good plan. Plus it's unlikely what they say is constructive in any form. At least I don't find "Look at the fatty" to be constructive criticism. That's not to say that comments can't ruin your mood or cause anger or sadness. One nice thing about media like YouTube is you have the ability to privately have at the haters without anyone knowing. Personally just the thought that I can write literary circles around the "your gay" crowd is helpful. I've got skills people want and I don't know a single hater who gets paid for what they do.Good luck with the laundry and remember that despite the seemingly endless hoards of haters there's also an army on your side, ready with the true and positive comments.
