Fab issue #468: beards

Our salute to the modern, hairy-faced man

Hair is everywhere these days, most notably on the faces of the gay men of Toronto.

As much as we love a good smooth guy, there's something about a bushy jaw in the winter months that really warms our fireplace. So we decided to dedicate our health and grooming issue to the beard.

They're all over the city, and as you'll read in our feature story, there are even several parties dedicated to the men who love them. Written by Michael Yerxa, the fuzzy feature includes grooming tips and a list of the most famous beards of all time.

Also in this issue you'll find a profile of the new Andrew Harwood art show, written by Keith Cole; a sex-class marathon, with expert Midori; Toronto's new voguing house, the House of Nuance; gay-friendly pop foursome Reverse; and the Bruce LaBruce movie, which you can help with.

      Some is nice but when it gets big and bushy like your cover model it's not attractive on anyone. A well groomed beard is hot.
