Pornstars add DJing to their lengthy resumés


They’re pornstars! And they’re DJs!

I know, it sounds like a wacky sitcom premise from the ’80s, but I can assure you that it is a very real thing. Called Porn Star DJs, it’s the brainchild of renowned Québécois pornstar Pierre Fitch

“I’m not scared of risk at all,” Fitch says from Montreal, and he means it. The outspoken star of such classics as Through the Woods, Spokes III and Big Dick Club starts companies with the same zeal he uses to blow a load on a co-star’s face. And he has a new partner in crime: Joey Wargachuk.

“We felt for some months that things have been getting stale in Toronto’s party scene. What better way to change a boring scene than to build a talent agency of DJs who are also pornstars?” says Joey in the press release. So far, the roster is limited to Fitch and Raging Stallion stud Ricky Sinz, but both men assure me there will be lots of other pornstars, both male and female, spinning in clubs under their banner in the coming year.

It raises the question — will porn be involved? “No,” Joey says. “We’re just using porn as a marketing tool. It’s all about presentation.” So even though the music is hot, don’t expect to see any pink in the DJ booth.

It all started four years ago when Pierre brought his DJ skills to Goodhandy’s (now Club120) for an event called Tabernac. Joey was working there at the time, and he and Pierre felt an instant connection. Having already cut his teeth working on the popular Sodom parties, was Joey prepared for a partnership with Pierre? 

“I’ve worked with a lot of big characters in the community,” he says. “People say they’re difficult, but I don’t think any of them are divas at all. They are all dedicated artists and entrepreneurs.” 

Pierre is also teaming up with Superstein to create his own clothing line, called Pierre Wear. Mostly sexy underthings, they are available online, but he also has plans to open a store in Montreal and wants to make them available through vending machines in Steamworks. “Everyone who works for me will have to wear Pierre Wear,” he declares.

But he doesn’t stop there. He is working on an iPhone app (“sort of like a Grindr-type thing for college students”), he has an autobiographical book coming out in January, and he and Joey are looking into creating a Pierre Fitch cologne. He has also hooked up with the guys who designed for LMFAO, who want to create for him, and he is dedicated to relaunching his porn site, Fitch Media, which was dormant due to some “boyfriend problems.” But don’t fret: he still appears regularly on

Pierre says he always wanted to do porn. “I wanted to be famous and didn’t want to work at a minimum-wage job.” Porn and DJing have allowed him to travel the world and become internationally known. 

It seems lots of people have good Pierre Fitch stories. When I interviewed Jet Set Men director Chris Steele in October 2008, he told me, “Pierre demanded a quesadilla to eat for lunch, and he stole the chips from the photographer and refused to give them back until we gave him quesadillas.” Maybe Pierre should open a quesadilla company as well. 

“Most of my businesses are successful. I have great people around me,” he says. I have to admire his certainty and look forward to a future where a real fan could go to Pierre’s DJ event drenched in the cologne and wearing Pierre Wear while holding a copy of the book and using the phone app and jerking off to his porn scenes all at the same time. Pierre Fitch is trying to keep us all busy in the coming year.
